The Joseph Drouhin name is one of the biggest in Burgundy, owning vineyards in Chablis, Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, and Cote Chalonnaise. Compromised of mostly Premier and Grand Cru and established in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, it is still run by 4 of his grandchildren who have all grown up in the vineyards. A family is very important to the Drouhin's and in the summer of 1991, Robert Drouhin together with Miguel Torres, founded Primum Familiae Vini.
