Deep, dark red with a black core.
Notes of stewed blue fruits, graphite, pipe smoke, acacia flower and vanilla bean.
Full bodied with rich concentrated notes of plum jam and fresh fig. Floral notes of drying acacia flower weave across the palate. Acid is fresh and pert, whilst the tannin is well rounded and rolls across the back palate. Mineral notes of warm slate keep the palate fresh and focused. Flavours run long and deep.
18 months in 4-6 year old French oak hogsheads.
